Main Season Rates

PLEASE NOTE: Clients must carry a satellite phone or SPOT-type communication device.

• $50 per llama per day (2 llama minimum, 60 lbs per llama)
• $15 per companion llama (8-day minimum, 0 lbs)*
• $20 trailer rental per day (if necessary)
• $5 bear can rental per day
  

Five day minimum reservation in August.

* Llamas are herd animals and need a buddy on the trail. For solo hikers and small groups who only need one llama, we provide a limited number of companion llamas.

Reservations shall be secured by a non-refundable 50% deposit. Final payment is due 14 days before departure.

Trip Cancellation Refund Policy

60 days+ before departure: 100% refund

59 days - 14 days before departure: 25%

13 days or less before departure: 0%

If we are able to fill the scheduled time with a replacement trip, we will increase an appropriate refund amount.

If a client returns early from a scheduled time slot, there is no refund for unused days. Potato Ranch Llama Packers accepts no responsibility for early termination of trip due to illness, injury, weather, insects, or other factors beyond our control.

Shuttle Assistance

For those doing point-A-to-point-B trips , Easter Sierra Transit can assist in your shuttle. For information, call 760-872-1901.

Early Season Rates

In years when California high sierra snowpack is low, we may offer reduced rates for early season (June / July) rentals. In early season, we allow a maximum load of 60 lb per llama. Check back in early spring to see what conditions look like for the new year.
